The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM) is a museum in Bangalore, India. Its management comes under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Government of India. Establishment The museum was instituted as part of the centenary celebrations of the engineer-statesman Sir M. Vishvesvaraya (1861-1962). It was handed over to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in 1962. Louis Renault (February 12, 1877 – October 24, 1944) was a French industrialist, one of the founders of Renault and a pioneer of the automobile industry. Renault built one of France's largest automobile manufacturing concerns, which bears his name to this day. During World War I his factories contributed massively to the war effort notably so by the creation and manufacture of the first effective tank: the Renault FT tank. Accused of collaborating with the Germans during World War II, he died while awaiting trial in liberated France toward the end of 1944 under uncertain circumstances....

Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet is an industrial museum in the south of the City of Sheffield, England. The museum forms part of a former steel-working site on the River Sheaf, with a history going back to at least the 13th century. It consists of a number of dwellings and workshops that were formerly the Abbeydale Works—a scythe-making plant that was in operation until the 1930s—and is a remarkably complete example of a 19th-century works. The works are atypical in that much of the production process was completed on the same site (in a similar manner to a modern factory)....

West Japan Industrial Club

The West Japan Industrial Club (Nishi Nihon Kogyo Kurabu 西日本工業倶楽部 or former Matsumoto residence) is in Tobata ward, Kitakyushu. It was designed by Tatsuno Kingo and is his only surviving private house. (See Finn, pp. 216-218 for a detailed description of the architectural features and internal design.)
